Carnwath Primary School Solar Installation

Work on the solar PV array is almost complete at the new Carnwath Primary School building in South Lanarkshire. This £900k project involves a full mechanical and electrical installation of the new building, in conjunction with the main contractor Morgan Sindall. The inclusion of this 20kw solar PV system is now a routine element in new school building designs and demonstrates the integral role that renewables and in particular solar energy plays in modern construction.

This non-denominational, co-educational school will support the education of over 200 children and is being constructed on the site of the current building. It's due for completion in March 2015.
